What is a Giclee Print?
Giclee (pronounced zhee-clay) is the French word for "to spray." Giclee prints are images produced from high-resolution digital scans, printed with archival inks onto canvas and fine art papers. The name originally applied to fine art prints created on IRIS printers but has since come to mean any high quality ink-jet print and is often used by artist, galleries, and print shops to denote such prints.
